Another great year at A R Manley and Son
We would like to wish all our valued customers and trusted suppliers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support throughout this year, and we truly look forward to the opportunity of working together again in the upcoming year.
2024 has proven to be a remarkable year for A R Manley and Son Ltd. We have contributed to several spectacular projects this year, including the recently renovated Wrexham Butchers Market and the refurbishment of the historic William Salt Library in Stafford. Each project reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship and our dedication to enhancing the spaces we work on. We were also shortlisted for a British Woodworking Federation Award for Heritage Project of the Year, for our use of traditional techniques to accurately replicated an authentic Victorian greenhouse.

Our partnership with Shrewsbury Colleges Group continues to flourish and grow, as we work together to inspire and engage with the future generation of skilled joiners. We are delighted to have recently taken on our latest apprentice, Sam, who is off to a flying start and demonstrating great potential. Additionally, we have also warmly welcomed new bench joiners, James and John, as well as a new General Operative, Frank, to our dedicated team.
In October, we welcomed Lighthouse - The Construction Charity. Justin and Dale from Lighthouse delivered an informative, engaging, and crucial talk about the extensive range of services that the charity has to offer to individuals working in the construction industry, as well as their families.
Tools will be down from midday on Thursday 19 December, so our dedicated team can enjoy a well-deserved break and recharge. The workshop will reopen and resume normal operations on Monday 6 January.
2025 will mark a significant milestone, as we proudly celebrate 80 years of our well-established family business, and we are excited to commemorate this extraordinary achievement with our valued customers and partners.
