Project Spotlight: Bespoke Green Oak Garden Room

One of our biggest projects this year was a bespoke Green Oak garden room, situated on an existing irregular brick foundation. An accurate template of the brickwork had to be taken before the overall structure could be manufactured and assembled. The main frame was pre-jointed in the workshop, then carefully re-assembled on site, and the final structure was expertly finished in situ to ensure a perfect fit and high-quality result.

The frame was rebated to receive the high-performance Pilkington Optilam K Glass S, integrated into 28.8mm double glazed units, courtesy of K J Glazing. The sleek aluminium external doors and frame, along with the elegant roof lantern supplied by Universal Trade Frames in Shrewsbury, were the ideal finishing touch that enhanced the overall design. To ensure durability and longevity, the final product was meticulously sealed externally by Scott Kelly Sealants.

Thank you to all who contributed their time and efforts to this project, especially the dedicated staff of A R Manley and Son and the hardworking team from Darren Haycock Building Contractors.
